Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of WiSure, an iOS app published by ByteSage Labs ("ByteSage Labs", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using WiSure, you agree to these Terms.

1. What WiSure is — and isn't

WiSure checks the Wi-Fi network you're connected to for a set of automated security signals (encryption, interception, DNS behavior, router configuration, and similar checks) and turns the result into a plain-language score and per-activity guidance.

WiSure is a guidance tool, not a guarantee. A "Safe" result reflects what WiSure's checks could detect at the time of the scan — it is not a certification that a network is free of risk, and it is not a substitute for your own judgment, antivirus software, a VPN, or professional security review, particularly in high-stakes or enterprise contexts. Networks can also change after a scan. Use WiSure's guidance as one input, not the only one, especially for sensitive activity like banking.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract to use WiSure, and, where applicable, meet the minimum age required by the App Store in your country. If you're using WiSure on behalf of an organization, you're confirming you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

3. Account-free use

WiSure does not require an account. Your scan history and saved places are tied to your device, not to an identity we manage.

4. Subscriptions, trials, and the lifetime unlock

WiSure offers a free tier (score and verdict for every scan) and WiSure Pro, which unlocks full findings detail, per-activity advice, and unlimited saved places with change alerts. Pro is available as:

• A monthly auto-renewing subscription
• A yearly auto-renewing subscription
• A one-time lifetime purchase

All purchases are billed through your Apple ID via the App Store. The following applies to auto-renewing subscriptions, as required by Apple:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
• If WiSure offers a free trial, any unused portion is forfeited once you purchase a subscription, and you'll be charged automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel first.

Prices vary by country/region and are set and displayed by the App Store at the time of purchase.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or tamper with WiSure beyond what's permitted by applicable law; use WiSure to attack, probe, or gain unauthorized access to networks or devices you don't own or have permission to test; or resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app or its output as your own product.

6. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use WiSure on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use. This license doesn't transfer any ownership in WiSure to you.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

WiSure is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that WiSure's checks will detect every risk, or that results will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByteSage Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of WiSure, or from any decision you make based on its output, including any loss resulting from connecting to a network WiSure scored favorably. Our total liability for any claim relating to WiSure is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or, for the free tier, ₹0).

9. Termination

You can stop using WiSure and delete it at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the app or specific features, with notice where reasonably possible, including if required by Apple or applicable law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continuing to use WiSure after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. This applies regardless of where you access WiSure from.
